The Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. is a non-partisan, non-sectarian, non-discriminatory and non-profit organization.
Blue Star Mother A Mother or Step Mother (since the child was of the age of thirteen) who has a son or daughter who is serving, or has been honorably discharged from the Armed Forces of the United States. Services included are the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, National Guard, Reserve Units, and the Merchant Marines

Associate Member A spouse, sister, brother, granparent, aunt, uncle, cousin, or friend of someone who is serving, or has been honorably discharged from the Armed Forces of the United States. Services included are the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, National Guard, Reserve Units, and the Merchant Marines
Yearly BSMOA,Inc. membership is $30. Only Moms are asked to pay.
Our Chapter prefers that you pay your dues online to the Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. They in turn we email us of your paid membership. It helps to speed the chapter membership process along.
Blue Star Dads and Associate Members are free.
The renewal membership fee and that of new members are accepted yearly in August/September for the Texas Coastal Bend Chapter's fiscal year Sept. 1 to Aug. 31. Application forms are available at our Texas Coastal Bend Chapter meetings, online through our National Organization or through any of our Texas Chapters listed, see the list of Texas Chapters on the Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. website at www.bluestarmothers.org
You may want to check first with your nearest or "local area" Texas Blue Star Mom Chapter for more information on joining.
You do not need to become a paid member to participate in our meetings. Anyone in support of our troops is welcome at our meetings.
There are pins for both Blue Star Mothers and Blue Star Dads that can be purchased through the Blue Star Mothers website.
